Portraits and lifestyle photos to me means the family collectively groaning and laughing at a dad's horrible joke. It's getting the real sibling dynamic: the one where you torment each other in a way that shows how much you really love each other. It's portraits that scream personality, no matter if they're your new LinkedIn headshot or Facebook profile picture.
Whether it's family photos, individual headshots, senior portraits, or a group of you and your best friends at graduation, I want to make sure that, in 15 years, when you look back to these pictures, you don't have a memory of being awkwardly posed. Instead, you remember the laughs, the jokes, and the emotions of the moment.

countdown
You've counted down the days, we've had a chat, and made a schedule. Now, it's the day of your shoot! Time to relax and just have some fun without worrying about getting the "right" shots. I'll make sure that everything goes according to our chats. The only thing you have to do is enjoy!
Sign the contract, put down the deposit, and we'll be all good to go! If you need it, I'll have a list of location ideas, outfit tips, and posing techniques for the day of. I'll also be just one email away if you have any questions. If you have any inspiration photos, send them over at this time.
I'll keep you updated throughout the editing process, and you'll receive your photos in the agreed upon timeframe. From there, get your favorites out into the world. Hang them up on your walls, show them to everyone, and make sure to tag @riyakphoto when you post them!
